AEW Fight Forever Game: 10 Reasons To Be Worried

5. Kenny Omega’s Admission

Then, there's Kenny Omega.

Another report claims that the former AEW World Champion and all-round wrasslin' machine is having a tough time working with Yuke's on Fight Forever. The word "hates" was even thrown out there to describe how Kenny feels about the project right now.

Before that news spread, there were other concerns; Omega previously admitted that AEW's first game wouldn't be able to compete with WWE's 2K series at all. Kenny was only trying to pre-manage expectations from fans, but that was a bit of a strange thing to say.

It didn't do much to talk the game up, and even flew right in the face of Omega's prior comments about wanting to marry gameplay from the old SmackDown titles with No Mercy on N64. Was all that just lip service that'd entice older gamers in from the off? Kenny's relationship with Yuke's doesn't appear to be harmonious.

If they're not pulling in the same direction, then AEW's game could be a jumbled mess of conflicting ideas.
