AEW Fight Forever Game: 10 Reasons To Be Worried

Let's zoom in on something Omega said about the gameplay for a second - according to the 'Best Bout Machine', Fight Forever will aim to strike up a nice mix of arcade gameplay and sim elements. Fast, slick gameplay sounds good, but Yuke's have to be careful they don't go too far in that direction.

They want this to be a pick-up-and-play classic, not a glorified mobile-worthy brawler like 2K Battlegrounds. That's the concern here. The graphics (more on those later) and teases that gameplay will be lightning fast make AEW's game sound like it'll be akin to some lovechild of TNA Impact and Battlegrounds.

No, that would not be a good thing.

Fight Forever isn't being presented as an obviously-OTT product like WWE All Stars was many moons ago. It's based on a company that regularly showcases superior, serious in-ring action, so fans will expect AEW's game to reflect that style. Again, it just sounds like Omega is at odds with Yuke's.
