The coprolite is not the only fecal cameo in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As it turns out, your character can actually have a poop as well.

No, really.

As you probably know, if you feed your character fruit, they will develop superhuman strength that allows them to crush boulders and uproot trees using only a shovel and brute force. This can be useful for moving trees around quickly, but also inconvenient if you eat too many by accident.

Thankfully, in New Horizons, you have access to toilets.

If you unintentionally eat a fruit, all you have to do is take a seat on the porcelain throne (no undressing required), and you'll expel it in no time flat. Prior to figuring this out, I always wondered why anybody would bother to put a bathroom in their house if villagers lack regular human bodily functions. Sure enough, I was wrong - they don't. Our villagers have to poo just like we do. Fancy that.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go repurpose one of the rooms in my house, as I have had one too many pears.
