Animal Crossing: 10 Wonderful Tiny Details You've Probably Missed

5. The Museum: Fossils

Finally, we get to the last section of the museum to make this list - the Fossil section.

To start, if you donate a Eusthenopteron to Blathers and ask him to tell you about it, he will make yet another reference to Splatoon. He explains that the Eusthenopteron was "the link between fish and land animals long before dinosaurs," then later goes on to wonder how life would be different if we'd never evolved from the water. After asking how we'd resolve our differences, he mutters under his breath, "perhaps some sort of ink-squirting contest of champions?" If you, like most players, opt to skip Blathers' explanations of things, you definitely missed this one.

Moving on, while it's obvious that standing on certain floor spots makes the screen pan out, there is one more interesting place to stand. On the top floor of the right-most room, there are silhouettes of each villager species on the protective glass. If you stand at the right-most side, you'll become the "human" among those silhouettes and a spotlight will shine down on you.

Finally, while this is technically only possible outside of the museum, some of the fossils will come to life if you interact with them. So, for all of the dinosaur lovers out there, you can have a somewhat-sentient T-Rex skeleton on your island. Do with that info what you will.
