Anthem: 15 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
1. The Storm Javelin Is The Best All-Rounder
Essentially Anthem's mage class, the Storm Javelin is the newest model in the lore, and it shows.
Players might be duelling over whether the best suit is Storm or Colossus, but I'm going with the Storm for the following reasons:
- Combos are incredibly easy to pull off, and you'll start the game with the ability to drop Ice Primers and Lightning Detonators, resulting in great damage out the gate.
- Hovering with R3 or aiming in mid-air creates an automatic shield that helps immensely in combat, especially on higher difficulties when more action fills the screen.
- Its Ultimate auto-combos three times after targeting, so you're guaranteed a worthwhile payoff to the one ability that takes the longest time to power up.
- Storm and Interceptor are the two most unique-looking Javelins with sleek overall presentations, but Storm's high-ranked gear gives out hoods, flowing capes and adornments accentuating shoulders or legs. It's just a great looking character with a phenomenal power-set - something that'll let you test out the vast majority of these tips with ease.
