5. What's Up With Baek's Supernatural Powers?!

Coming right next to this potential shift in tone signalled by the serpentine boss fight, is the demo-closing scene of Baek launching an arrow - only to control its flight... somehow.

There's every possibility Ubi just won't address this, playing it down as some sort of "He always meant it to go that way" reasoning, but we already know Baek can essentially control his eagle Senu, seeing through his eyes as he scouts bases ahead.

It wouldn't be the first time, either. Far Cry Primal's main character just kind of... learned how to mind-control beasts, though it's barely brought up in the story other than being a power Takkar is 'blessed'/born with.

Eagle Vision was mostly explained away as a side-effect of the Animus and Evie Frye's 'hide in plain sight' was put down to shadows and crouching, but we're yet to see any main AC protagonists demonstrate actual supernatural abilities. Is this another 'new direction' for the series?
