Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate - 10 Things It Must Learn From Brotherhood
1. Have Recruitment - But Don't Overpower Them
The recruitment system in Brotherhood was great - training up little Ezios into powerful Assassins was one of the highlights of the game, especially since you could then call them down from the rooftops and have them fight alongside you if you did get into a bit of a sticky situation.
As awesome as this feature was, it was also part of the reason why the combat became a bit too easy. Not only could you eliminate groups of enemies without having to lift a finger, but if things got hectic you could call down an arrow storm to kill every enemy in the area. Their only downside was that they couldn't be used in places they couldn't get to - like the Vatican.
The recruits in Brotherhood were overpowered, sure, but they were still really cool. Syndicate should re-introduce them on the streets of London - but maybe have less of them, and don't make them as good at fighting.
The Masters have to keep their skills sharp somehow, you know.
