Assassin's Creed: Which Desmond Miles Ancestor is the Best?

3. Free-Running

These games perfected the art of parkour/free-running and they have only improved upon it. Any good assassin has to be able to traverse any terrain and do it quickly. Altair: He introduced us to this new way to travel and did it pretty well. There were some flaws, he couldn't make every jump and fall damage was bad. He gets a 6/10 for free-running. Ezio: The climb-and-leap technique and the hookblade both improved on the flow of free-running and the speed. The parachute helped with the occasional mishap of falling off a tall building. Ezio was faster and more agile, everything he did felt natural and fun. He gets a 10/10 in the free-running category. Connor: Connor's free-running has been showcased in several gameplay videos and trailers and it looks great. We know that there probably wont be a hookblade or parachute, which were both key advancements in the parkour skill. He will be able to climb trees, which opens up a number of cool gameplay possibilities. He seems to be faster than Ezio, but can be limited by snow or other weather-related hazards. I think that what Ezio had was perfect, although I am looking forward to something new. I know that's it's unfair to rate him on a game that hasn't come out yet, but Connor gets a 9/10 in the free-running section.
