Batman: Arkham 2017 - 10 Perfect Ways To Continue The Franchise
3. Explore The Knightfall Protocol
Love it or hate it, the Knightfall Protocol is the way the Arkham Trilogy concludes. It may be a regressive, uncharacteristic, and harsh act, but the ramifications of the Dark Knight's decision to go AWOL may be a fantastic premise for future games to lay their foundations upon. The season pass's woefully short DLC hinted at the fractures Bruce's 'absence' has caused on not just the Bat-family, but for Gotham as a whole as well. Indeed, taking hints from story-arcs like 52 and Batman: Reborn would galvanise the series by placing a renewed focus on Batman's allies, and seeing how they'd react in such a situation - with the presence of a supposed 'new' Batman on the streets - could bridge old and new trilogies together wonderfully.
