8. Wonder Woman
Part of the DC Trinity of Heroes, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn't heard of the star spangled heroine. Princess Diana of Themyscara's iconic status is only matched by her strong character, and the world she occupies would make for a game like no other. Another series based on ancient mythology that has been wildly successful is the God of War franchise, and a Wonder Woman game that took inspiration (at least in gameplay) from those titles would be pretty fantastic indeed. Obviously ignoring the horrid misogynistic elements of that particular brand, a combination of it with the Arkham formula we all know and love would make for a very worthy title - especially if Diana was written as well as she has been in her most recent comic series by veteran scribe Brian Azzarello. A Wonder Woman game made by Rocksteady could incorporate all of Diana's abilities - from her ancient weaponry to her famous lasso of truth. Whether it be a modern setting or one heavily inspired by her mythological roots, this is certainly a game that's long overdue.
