Batman: Arkham Knight - Everything We Know So Far

2. Music

One of the strengths of the Rocksteady Arkham franchise is the way the games have utilised music to accommodate moments within the game, enhancing the atmosphere and providing substantial background to combat or to generate and enhanced ambiance. These are quintessential elements when scoring all forms of media, and it is key to engaging the audience into the world that has been developed, something that was particularly at its strongest throughout Arkham Asylum While absent from Origins, Nick Arundel returns to the series to score the final instalment. As mentioned, his work on Arkham Asylum perfectly captured the claustrophobic and madness that Batman was surrounded in. While particularly compositions were reused for the later games, Arkham Knight's score is so large that David Buckley, who scored the Ben Affleck film The Town, has been brought in to help Arundel put the finishing touches the game's soundtrack.
