Batman: Arkham Knight Reviews - 10 Early Critical Reactions You Need To See

9. The Voice Cast Is Uniformly Excellent

"...several strong performances gave it personality: the unsettling monotone voice of John Noble makes this the eeriest version of the Scarecrow yet..." - Dan Stapleton, Ign.com "Scarecrow, Arkham Knight, and a few other secret characters shine." - Andrew Reiner, GameInformer.com
By now it's nearly impossible to pick up a Batman comic and read the words without hearing Kevin Conroy's rumbling baritone echoing through your head - so synonymous is he with the Dark Knight. Likewise, Mark Hamill is and always will be the definitive Joker for generations of Bat-fans. With Arkham Asylum, Rocksteady spared no expense when it came to authentically recreating the performance quality of the animated series, and every subsequent entry in the Arkhamverse has followed suit to provide the absolute best in voice acting - with the sequel boasting the likes of Stana Katic, Nolan North and Troy Baker. And the newest entry is no exception; with Arkham newcomer John Noble providing Jonathan Crane's sinister tones and reported to be a particular highlight. But with such a vast array of heroes and villains packed into Arkham Knight, it's safe to expect a few returning cast members in addition to the new blood... including one very special surprise guest!
