Battlefield 1 DLC: 10 Specific Things Fans Demand

5. The Balkans

Battlefield 1 Empire's Edge
EA

Perhaps one of the war's most forgotten elements, the campaign in the Balkans saw the mobilisation of hundreds of thousands of soldiers, but largely revolved around confrontations between Bulgaria, then in allegiance with the Central Powers, and Serbia/Greece, the latter of which formally entered the war at the dawn of 1918.

Apart from the fact that the addition of this front would provide yet another excuse to add more factions into the title, there's also an opportunity to address the very origins of the Great War itself, seeing as, you know, old Archduke Ferdinand actually bit the bullet in Serbia slap-bang in the middle of 1914.

It might not top the list of requests for Battlefield's post-release platform, but the Macedonian Front remains one of the most intriguing aspects of the conflict to date.
