Battlefield 2018: 8 Leaked Details You're Not Supposed To Know

1. It's Definitely Coming In October

If there's one thing certain about the next Battlefield game, it's that it's coming this October. In an quarterly earnings call with shareholders, EA's CEO Andrew Wilson explained that they'd be moving Anthem to 2019 to allow DICE's release to dominate the fall season.

While you might expect a new instalment every couple years or so, the franchise has never really stuck to a predictable schedule. BF 4 came two years after 3, but the Visceral Games-developed Hardline was the next to release, followed swiftly by Battlefield 1 a year later.

Consequently, a follow up this soon from DICE Sweden is a bit of a surprise, but it's exciting to see them hit the ground running.

Whichever way it turns out, fans should know whether or not these leaked details are true in a mere matter or months, and get themselves ready for another stint on the battlefield come October.
