Battlefield 6: Every Leak And Rumour You NEED To Know

5. Dynamic Weather

BATTLEFIELD 5
EA DICE

Take this one with a grain of salt as it's the first of a number of leaks originating from a Reddit user, but we'll take any rumour we can get when it's all quiet on the development front. Reddit user Badgerunder claimed he'd heard some inside knowledge on the upcoming release from a source within DICE and EA. If any of the leaks are shown to be credible, there is a sizeable amount of information to sift through, so here goes...

A simple but effective tool the user suggests DICE will implement in the next Battlefield release is a dynamic weather system. As I mentioned when discussing the game's location, it's vital more of a connection or interest in the game's location is fostered in the upcoming instalment. A great way to do that is dynamic weather, inevitably making the conflict and scenes more memorable and impressive for the player.

Aiming to create a more immersive experience, the game will allegedly implement an ever-changing system which could see gamers battle the enemy in a city under the heat of the sun, but in a moment be hit with a storm. This will certainly add a new edge and element to the Battlefield gameplay experience. A consistent day/night cycle is also rumoured, which will see players needing to quickly complete battles or risk shootouts entering a dark, moonlit fight.
