Battlefield V: 10 Radical Gameplay Changes You Totally Missed

4. 360 Degrees Of Movement

Although Battlefield has always kept its infantry action firmly rooted on the ground, the developers have always strived to introduce new movement abilities to make firefights more versatile, and getting around just generally more fun.

DICE are going one step further in Battlefield V however, and are introducing a new 360-degree movement system which should result in far more dynamic firefights. Unlike other releases, you can now dive in any direction (or get thrown in any direction, as grenades now have the ability to knock you over), as well as manoeuvre to line up shots while you're on the ground, instead of being limited to wherever you're facing.

It's a system similar to the one in Rainbow Six: Siege, however here it's going to be far faster and hopefully more fluid. Likewise, the devs have also made it so that you can fire during movement animations, for instance while you're climbing over a wall or even when you're at the apex of a dive.

Obviously, these shots will be far less accurate than if you were stationary, but they should give players last-minute options to get out of sticky situations.
