Battlefield V: 10 Radical Gameplay Changes You Totally Missed

3. No Instant Healing Or Resupplying

As previously mentioned with the new spotting system, in an attempt to make Battlefield V more immersive, DICE are doing away with a majority of the "gamey" features, and instead trying to root every system in believable animations and actions.

Consequently, the regular resupplying and healing systems, which usually work when a class throws down a pack and nearby teammates automatically reap the benefits, is being changed to an animation-driven feature. Now you have to actually interact with ammo supplies and health packs, which means classes can't just spam their resources in the heat of battle.

Revives work the same way, with players not instantly popping back to life after being pinged with a syringe, but healed through an animation. This lengthier process could make you a bigger target, but thankfully DICE have made revives more versatile, as you can now pull downed players to cover and out the way of incoming fire.
