4. Dwayne Forge

I have to say at this point, if you chose to kill Dwayne Forge and let Playboy X live then youre an emotional golem. Immediately upon meeting the aging gangster upon his release from prison, youre heart simply has to go out to him. Sure hes whiney, hes negative and hes seemingly unwilling to turn his life around but that just makes him all the more the puppy dog. Hes not exactly a heavy feature in GTA IVs main storyline but should you fulfil the conditions needed to make a friend of him, and spend enough time with him, Niko will essentially talk him out of his rut and convince him that life aint so bad after all. And theres something infinitely satisfying about talking someone out of suicide, even if it is an imaginary event. This was one of the key features of GTAs whole friend system; that you actually could learn enough about a character, spend enough time with them outside of the games storyline, that you could essentially positively affect their lives. Dwayne Forge is probably the finest example of this unique mechanic in action.
