Before GTA V: 10 Greatest Side Characters in GTA History

4. Dwayne Forge

I have to say at this point, if you chose to kill Dwayne Forge and let Playboy X live then you€™re an emotional golem. Immediately upon meeting the aging gangster upon his release from prison, you€™re heart simply has to go out to him. Sure he€™s whiney, he€™s negative and he€™s seemingly unwilling to turn his life around but that just makes him all the more the puppy dog. He€™s not exactly a heavy feature in GTA IV€™s main storyline but should you fulfil the conditions needed to make a friend of him, and spend enough time with him, Niko will essentially talk him out of his rut and convince him that life ain€™t so bad after all. And there€™s something infinitely satisfying about talking someone out of suicide, even if it is an imaginary event. This was one of the key features of GTA€™s whole friend system; that you actually could learn enough about a character, spend enough time with them outside of the game€™s storyline, that you could essentially positively affect their lives. Dwayne Forge is probably the finest example of this unique mechanic in action.
