8. Vehicle Combat Will Be Even More Robust

Vehicles have always been a staple of the Borderlands series, but for the most part players have been jumping into the same old clunkers to get around a little bit faster. Even judging by the trailers, however, it's clear the developers are doubling down on this part of the gameplay in the sequel.

Not only have Gearbox shown off the regular cars that have popped up in the past two games, but brand new anti-gravity ones that can hover above ground, as well as one vehicle that's just a big wheel with two guns stuck on the front.

It's certainly more imaginative than what fans are used to, and if it results in some crazy, Mad Max-inspired vehicle sections, then it will be more than welcomed.
