Breath Of The Wild 2: 7 Bold Predictions From The E3 Trailer
1. A Release Window
Unfortunately, Breath of the Wild 2 seems a while off.
How long? Well, there are some things to note which will give us a rough idea.
A 2019 or 2020 release date is very unlikely; if they were to release the game either this year or the next, they would have told us that.
This is backed up by the fact that we don't even have a title for the game yet. We call the game "Breath of the Wild 2", but that is unlikely to be the actual title.
We also don't have any footage of controllable gameplay.
The best bet is 2021. If the game was coming out any later than 2021 we probably wouldn't even have this teaser trailer yet. This game should also have a shorter development time than most mainline Zelda games, as it is using the same engine and a lot of the same assets as Breath of the Wild.
This has happened before with Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. These games were released a year and a half apart in comparison to the five and a half year wait between Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild.
Yes, it has been longer than a year and a half, but don't expect to have to wait any longer than 2021.
