3. Jimmy Hopkins Is Back

Blink and you'd miss him - tucked away down the bottom of one of the leaked concept shots is a character model that looks a LOT like Jimmy Hopkins.

Before you leap to "Oh come on, it could be anyone. It looks like bald Max Payne!", check out this image too:

Taken from another concept sketch showing an abandoned apartment block, it appears the local kids have graffitied some slanderous imagery, targeting Jimmy's father. It confirms that even if Jimmy isn't in the game, the concept artists are showing his family's past or influence in the area itself.

Now, we never got the full reason as to why Jimmy had to be taken to Bullworth Academy, but a teenage Hopkins returning to his hometown to dissect its attitudes and his place in the community? That sounds like a mighty compelling sequel. Not to mention, Jimmy was expelled from previous schools for graffitiing, so this artwork could be his own, as he repeatedly states he hates his father.

If - going off this image - Jimmy's dad was involved in lifestyle pursuits that differ from the norms of middle America, it's VERY fertile ground to tackle the socio-politics of our current time head-on.
