Call Of Duty: Every Treyarch Zombies Map Ranked From Worst To Best
24. Shangri-La
Like Verrückt before, the third DLC map in the first Black Ops, Shangri-La, suffered from the same close-quarters problem in terms of map design. Arguably, there wasn't a moment to catch your breath, running around this hidden Himalayan temple was an exhilarating experience, but the cons outweighed the pros.
Though the power up-stealing monkeys were a fun challenge to deal with (the first time round), it reached the point where they were more annoying than challenging. The two special zombies, the napalm zombie and the shrieker zombie, were interesting but forgettable additions, and nor were they too game-changing to the base formula.
However, armed with an engrossing easter egg narrative, and the daft yet hilarious 31-79 JGb215 (or 'baby gun' for short), those loading up Shangri-La will have a tough, yet rewarding time.
