Call Of Duty: WW2 - 10 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

6. Scorestreaks Aren't Available In War Mode

Just like removing the threat of War mode tanking your KD, the game type also removes the ability for players to use scorestreaks, in an attempt to give an equal footing to both the attacking and defending team.

More than being a welcome change, knowing there's no scorestreaks in War is important when it comes to the basic training perk you have equipped for your class.

Some of these perks - especially the ones you have instant access to like Requisitions, which doesn't reset scorestreak progression on death - are all based around these rewards, so obviously there's no point in having them equipped if you plan on jumping into a few games of War.

With the mode encouraging players to throw themselves at objectives and repeatedly get killed, it wouldn't have made sense to punish them by awarding the enemies with scorestreaks, and fortunately the devs solved this problem by eliminating them completely.
