Call Of Duty: WWII - 10 Classic Multiplayer Maps That Should Return

7. Rust

Call Of Duty Hijacked
Infinity Ward

Essentially the spiritual successor to Modern Warfare's intimate Shipment map, Rust represents Infinity Ward's second crack at making a bite-sized arena work in Call of Duty to, let's say, near-perfect success.

The infamous loop of death-and-respawn CoD veterans will recall when revisiting memories of Shipment still persist here but at a drastically reduced rate. If you're able to look past those foibles, Rust is, believe it or not, one of Modern Warfare 2's stronger battlegrounds.

An emphasis on verticality is the defining factor - Rust is a race to see who can win a coveted spot atop the abandoned oil yard in the dead-center, the reward being a birds-eye view of the action. You're a sitting duck up on that perch, of course, but that's what claymores are for.

If Nuketown is off limits, then Rust is the next best option for giving lovers of Sledgehammer's historic shooter a downsized theater of war.
