Castlevania Season 3 Review: 5 Ups & 2 Downs
3. Great Character Arcs For Hector And Isaac
Two of the most interesting additions of the show's second season came in the form of Hector and Isaac - two formidable Forgemasters and the only human generals in Dracula's war court. Such well-developed characters already, Hector had an affinity for reanimating pets and struggled with his evil allegiances while Isaac was undeniably loyal to Dracula right to the bitter end.
As you'll already know if you watched last season, they're no longer together (after everything that happened on the night of Dracula's death), but that doesn't stop them from having their own engaging character arcs this time around. In fact, I dare say that their separate storylines benefit them even more as they allow us to get to know more about their own respective desires and resolve.
Isaac certainly has the more intriguing of the two narratives, but both are among the best the season has to offer.
