N. Brio feels the most conspicuous by his absence here, and always has done ever since the original in 1999. With Papu Papu, Komodo Joe and Pinstripe Potaroo being bosses, not having N. Brio seemed extremely weird back then.

Now, having continued to feature in Crash games as the property has changed hands, no N. Brio feels even stranger. Along with Koala Kong (and technically Komodo Moe), he’s the only original trilogy boss not the feature, though he’s easily more popular than many who made the cut.

While others here would be nice additions, N. Brio feels like he’s actively missing from the game. Of all the characters still to come, there’s by far the most demand for him.

Like Nina Cortex, his ugly mug also decorates the walls of Cortex Castle - though given the two have a long standing rivalry, this doesn’t necessarily make that much sense.

Another image on the wall is Cortex in his famous Coco Bandicoot disguise; could a Cortex Grand Prix bring Brio, Nina and that Cortex skin? The pieces are there and all the choices make sense, so don’t be surprised if we see something similar in the future.
