Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, three games down. Once Darksiders 3 ends, it's difficult not to crave that final fourth installment. Even if the story isn't always gripping, there's a difficult-to-resist enjoyment that comes from seeing these all-powerful beings progress through their mission. The addition of brief crossover moments where they interact and play off of one another is good for some fun moments.

And with the ability to see the drastic character differences between everyone, it makes playing as Strife all the more appealing. What would they be like? What abilities would they have that the others don't?

In addition, Strife would provide that last piece of the Charred Council's plan, ending the war before any cataclysmic events would occur. Perhaps Strife would mess up where their fellow Horsemen did not, leading to further drastic consequences? There are numerous appealing possibilities for Darksiders 4 to be a strong sendoff for the series, and this game only reinforces the desire to see that bombastic finale.
