Destiny 2: 9 Leaked Details & Speculations You Need To Know
4. PlayStation Timed Exclusive Content Will Continue
If the name Activision is in any way associated with a game that's coming out, you can almost guarantee there's going to be some console favouritism, and as was the case with the first Destiny, its sequel will be getting timed exclusive content on the PlayStation 4 thanks to publisher Activision.
Some of this content PlayStation gamers can look forward to will be along the lines of, well, pretty much everything. Destiny saw exclusive content range from weapons and gear to strikes and PvP maps. Assuming strikes move forward into Destiny 2, you can certainly expect PS4 exclusive strikes among the content.
It must be noted that in the promo photo that says Destiny 2 will enjoy exclusive content, it also says this will only be happening until Fall 2018. This could either mean come Fall 2018 all releases of Destiny will get the same content, or the timed content PS4 owners receive will not be made available to other's until Fall 2018.
Chances are its the latter considering the timed content that was released with The Taken King expansion two years ago is still exclusive to the PlayStation, almost two years later.
