Dragon Age Inquisition: 16 Weird Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed

8. A Banana On A Stick

Mark's Mangled Mace is a banana on a stick. What more is there to say?

This particularly sad looking weapon is crafted based on a recipe found in a literal pile of sh*t in the Exalted Plains, entitled the Sad Weapon Schematic, and despite looking even more ridiculous than its other gag item counterparts, it's a fairly decent level 1 one-handed weapon with mid-tier damage, if one fancies equipping a banana on a stick meant to slaughter people.

Anyone who's played this game and broken down a few castle or stronghold doors will have seen the crafting materials for this mace, but very likely won't have guessed at their relevance - as the "Sad Splinters" that show up as a valuable in the player's inventory needs to be put together at the Requisition Table, unlike the majority of weapons that get their own crafting station.

The mace's name may be in reference to Inquisition's executive producer Mark Darrah, but there's no other information to confirm this.

It is, however, no doubt a treat for anyone with the kind of sense of humour that would enjoy such a ridiculous, yet surprisingly effective gag weapon.
