Dragon Ball FighterZ: 8 DLC Characters Fans Demand

Cooler, as I've stated previously, has managed to work his way into the Dragon Ball franchise by just hitching a ride on his brother's coat tails. That isn't to say this guy isn't a credible threat, but his inclusion in the anime wouldn't have nearly as much weight if he wasn't Freiza's brother.

Yet, in spite of this, he is very popular amongst the fanbase. He's had two movies entirely dedicated to him, he's made cameos in both Dragon Ball GT and The Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, as well as multiple video game appearances.

Following the reboot of Dragon Ball Z, Cooler is no longer canon. As Dragon Ball FighterZ is based in the Dragon Ball Super universe, which follows on from Dragon Ball Kai, his inclusion seems a little less likely than some of the other entries on the list.

However, that limitation should only be applied to characters in the base roster of the game, as they're the characters that appear in the DBF's storyline. So really there's nothing stopping Arc System Works including him, although it's more than likely they'd want to focus on characters in Dragon Ball Super, simply for marketing purposes.
