Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3: 8 Top Tier Characters

In a game like DBFZ, solo mix-up is one of the most important tools any character can have. Characters like Vegito have incredible damage, big movesets and great reach - but none of that really matters if you can't open your opponent up.

Which is exactly why Lord Yamcha is easily one of the best characters in DBFZ. His Wolf Fang Fist rekkas and their EX counterparts will keep any player on their toes, as they allow him to convert a left/right mix-up into guaranteed damage with very little fuss.

He also has one of the best assists in the game, even after the latest balance patch. Every team is improved by having his A assist on their side. It's perfect for blockstrings, it's perfect for combo extensions... it's even good for neutral.

If you add this all together, what you have is essentially the best anchor in the game. Whilst Yamcha has relatively low damage, once you pair him with Limit Break this no longer becomes a problem when he can mix up any opponent on his own. The amount of 1v3 comebacks Yamcha has pulled off makes him a serious force to be reckoned with.
