Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot only introduces one new character, Bonyu, to the universe, and she doesn't add much to the story. If CyberConnect2 want to add to the lore it should be in a way that brings something interesting and new.
The DBZ movies were good examples of the Z Warriors going on epic side adventures against new and old foes. They may not have always affected the overall main narrative, but were still huge threats in their own right. This same approach can be taken with the game and allow players to experience a new adventure they haven’t seen anywhere before.
