8. Watch Dogs
Watch Dogs was the belle of the ball last E3. Unexpectedly the new IP came out and got a lot of people excited for the possibilities of an open world game where you can try and control a city through just using your phone. The premise is massive and has the scope to really be a playground for people to play in, and could go on to say something profound about the uber connected world we live in. Or it could be none of that. The thing is that we just don't know how it is going to turn out in thew long run. The game has so far been somewhat of an smog to me just because of the amount of amazing things I have heard you can do in the game. This of course has me skeptical to a degree. It will be interesting to see if I can learn anything about the app feature that lets other player mess around with the single players world while they play and the extent of that. Also, there are ideas out there that say every pedestrian NPC is living their own life and you could follow them as they go about their day, interact with other NPCs and you could make it your personal goal to destroy this person. It is just hard to know at this point exactly how much is true and if it is, to what extent. These are all things I want to find out for you guys when I have my time with Ubisoft. I'll be reporting back my findings for you all.
