2. Halo 5

Ok, so maybe Microsoft havent confirmed its Halo 5, but it is definitely a Halo game. The trailer showed Xbox icon Master Chief wandering through the desert in a shroud (though why hes wearing this is rather confusing, given hes already wearing metal body armour and a glass visor, so a bit over the top of that seems kinda inane), where he stumbles across a gigantic metal bird, possibly working as a spaceship, which bursts from the sand and looks down upon him. Although the trailer didnt show any gameplay its safe to say it didnt need to, given the mechanics of nearly every game in the series has been pretty much identical. The fact the character shown is Master Chief, along with the fact he is holding Cortanas chip, does suggest this game takes place after the events of Halo 4. The game will work at a blistering (seriously, thats how the speaker described it) 60 frames per second, allowing more fluid action than the previous title, and will likely be available at launch for the console. Given this is an established series theres little room for speculation on what the game will be like, but its reveal will doubtlessly prompt a lot of Microsoft fanboys to jump back on the wagon, something demonstrated by the sudden outburst of people defending the Xbox One on Twitter.
