E3 2016: 10 Outrageous Rumours We Hope Come True

8. A New God Of War

The emergence of concept art that seems to show God of War's Kratos roaming through plains of Norse-inspired landscape is yet to be confirmed as official or unofficial, but we're certainly hoping it's the former. Having slain the Greek Gods, Kratos is definitely in need of a few new foes.

Sony have been quiet on the artwork, which was supposedly pulled from the personal website of an artist who worked for the studio responsible for God of War back in 2015. It's entirely possible that these were just the idle doodlings of someone intrigued by a different future for Kratos, but they look far too well-realised to be as throwaway as that.

Taking Kratos into an arena of Norse Gods and mythology would be a great shake-up for the series and would definitely prove to give God of War 4 a standout style if that were the chosen direction. News of any new God of War game at E3 this year would be awesome, but a radical shake-up like this would be even better!
