E3 2016: 4 Ups & 7 Downs From Nintendo's Treehouse
1. No Nintendo NX

Yes, Nintendo made it clear that their new NX console wouldn't be appearing at E3 weeks ahead of time, but that doesn't really make it any less disappointing.
Considering that the new platform will reportedly be releasing next March, this would've been the perfect time for Nintendo to get the ball rolling with the PR offensive they need to win fans back after the Wii U's categorical failure.
Instead, it seems much more likely that it will be revealed merely at a Nintendo Direct livestream, which isn't nearly as exciting and probably a lot less than a whole new games console deserves.
It's not surprising in the slightest, but part of us still held out hope that they'd at least drop some information about the console.
