E3 2017: 6 Ups & 4 Downs From Bethesda's Conference
3. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Looks Absolutely Insane
As expected, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was revealed during the conference, due for release on October 27. The new game will shift the action from Europe to 1960s America as BJ Blazkowicz once again takes on the Nazis, and it looks nothing short of insane, just as fans would hope for.
Locations for the game will reportedly include Roswell, New Mexico, a flooded New Orleans and post-nuclear Manhattan, and though the 10-minute gameplay reel basically seems to suggest, in typical sequel fashion, that everything you accomplished in The New Order doesn't matter anymore, the tone looks terrifically over-the-top, and the visuals are absolutely stunning.
Simply, this is a no-brainer for fans of the series, and will probably also win it some new ones...though don't expect any pre-release reviews, per Bethesda's controversial review policy.
