E3 2018: 10 "Problems" People Are Overreacting About
6. Red Dead Redemption 2 Not Showing Up
Is this really even a surprise at this point?
Rockstar just doesn't do E3 like most other companies, so why get your hopes up about them appearing? The only time Rockstar have ever made a significant announcement at E3 was for a port of Grand Theft Auto V coming to the PS4 later that year.
As awesome as that was, it wasn't even really a big surprise that the game was coming. The bigger surprise was that Rockstar even showed up to E3, because they really don't do it much.
That's why hoping for any glimpse of Red Dead Redemption is going to lead to nothing but disappointment. The desire for Rockstar to appear at any of the conferences mostly comes due to a lack of any substantial gameplay on Red Dead Redemption 2 so far.
When Rockstar wants to show off Red Dead 2 they will, and it'll likely be through an in-depth trailer released on their terms. Don't let your E3 be ruined by expecting something practically impossible.
