E3 2018: 10 "Problems" People Are Overreacting About
7. Sony Focusing On 4 Games
When first hearing that Sony would only be focusing on four of their upcoming games, it was easy to be sceptical. It ended up being the best thing they could have possibly done.
The thing that has propelled Sony to the top of the pile in recent memory is their first party games. Titles like God of War and Spider-Man get so much excitement surrounding them that they practically sell systems. That's why choosing to focus on the four biggest games they've got was a fantastic idea.
We've finally seen gameplay of Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and The Last Of Us Part II and that arguably wouldn't have happened in such depth if Sony had chose a different route with their conference.
As great as Microsoft's conference was, it didn't really focus too much on any of their upcoming exclusives, which is arguably a console's main selling point nowadays.
It's not like there weren't any surprises at all anyway, so why not just enjoy the deep dive into some exciting games.
