E3 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen At Bethesda's Conference
4. DOOM 2
Please, please let this one happen Bethesda.
DOOM is not only one of the best games to come from id and Behesda, it's also one of the best first-person shooters ever. Reviews and sales seem to say the same thing, which gives them all the more reason to give us more DOOM.
The recent DOOM port to the Nintendo Switch highlighted that Bethesda are still clearly thinking about the game, which might be an indication of how important it is to them.
There are also the recent interviews where Pete Hines said that E3 was "Hell on Earth" for Bethesda, which is a clear wink at the title of the original DOOM sequel. A similar situation happened with Wolfenstein 2, which was teased a lot before being officially unveiled during E3.
It's not like id are too busy to work on it either, as the only game they're currently working on is Rage 2, which seems like a joint effort with Avalanche Studios. The pieces are lined up perfectly.
Introducing DOOM 2 to the world would be the absolute best way of closing the show and really making this year's conference one to remember.
