E3 2018: 13 Insane Announcements That Could Actually Happen
4. Final Fantasy XVI Is Announced
Though the Final Fantasy games sure take their sweet time in development, Square Enix is usually pretty quick off the mark announcing a new core game after the previous one has released, be it merely a few months up to a couple of years.
With Final Fantasy XV releasing over 18 months ago and Final Fantasy XVI unquestionably being in active development already, officially announcing the game with a teaser trailer wouldn't be remotely out of the question.
How Likely Is It?: This could easily go either way. With Square Enix focusing on Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VII Remake, they might not want to over-saturate audiences until at least KH3 has shipped, but at the same time, SE loves to announce their games incredibly early (too early, really), and people will be hype regardless.
It's a 50/50, basically.
