E3 2018: 8 Insane Predictions Most Likely To Come True
3. Brand New Crash Bandicoot Title
Ppoor old Crash had been all but forgotten about at the close of the PS2 era, replaced instead with treasure hunters and sullen tales of post-apocalyptic survival. The PS3 era came and went without nary a hint of the anthropomorphised bandicoot's return, leaving every Sony fan without options to satiate their thirst for kicking Dr. Cortex's bizarrely-proportioned behind.
After years of absence, Activision finally saw the light and commissioned Vicarious Visions to work on remasters of the original three games and, given its absurd success (spoilers: it made Activision a ton of cash), we're now all waiting for a bona fide sequel to come forth.
Rumours are already floating around that such a thing is on the cards for 2019, and there's no way Activision is going to let things lie after N.Sane's successful testing of the waters.
Now, let's all hope that Spyro's remastered return goes down as well as Crash's later this year.
