E3 2018: 8 Insane Predictions Most Likely To Come True
2. Capcom Announces Devil May Cry 5
Despite the colossal 'leak' that popped up on ResetEra late last year claiming that Capcom's fifth instalment for Dante's demon-hunting escapades would be announced at PSX 2017, Sony's year-end event came and went without so much as a cameo from the white-haired son of Sparda.
That absence was explained away by the original source as a decision on Sony's part to push the game's unveiling back to E3 2018 instead, so if the whistleblower isn't just blowing hot air then, well, June is going to be a special month indeed for PlayStation 4 owners, as the rumour also stipulates that Devil May Cry 5 will be a PS4 console exclusive.
As for the game's contents and timeline placement, the presence of the number five should be telling enough that this will be a return to Dante's original design and not Ninja Theory's controversial reboot of the character.
True or false? We'll find out for sure in just over a month's time, but early signs are promising.
