Although Bethesda as both a publisher and developer have made a lot of mistakes recently, they do have two games fans are absolutely falling over themselves to love: Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI. The former is next up on the docket, but nobody quite knows when it's coming.

The rumours point to it being a next-gen game, but considering new consoles could be dropping as early as next year, that doesn't necessarily mean fans are in for a long wait. Bethesda have something to prove in regards to their output now, and doubling down on an expansive, original RPG IP at E3 would do them the world of good. So far we've only seen a brief teaser trailer of Starfield, so any indication as to how far along the game is in development and how it plays, would go a long way in maintaining the hype.

The next Elder Scrolls showing up is more unlikely, as Starfield is taking priority at the moment, but some kind of update again could restore some faith in the company, rather than keeping the sequel being the carrot on the end of the stick so Bethesda fans have something to look forward to.

There is the small problem that Bethesda themselves have said that the two games won't be mentioned at the conference, but hopefully that's just to preserve the element of surprise.
