E3 2019: 20 Huge Video Game Announcements You Need To Know
9. The Sequel To Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Is In Development
Nintendo served up surely the best "one more thing" of the entire E3, by dropping a most unexpected first trailer for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The 90-second trailer didn't give much away, but showed Link and Zelda venturing across Hyrule together, seeming to hint at the possibility of the game being co-op, which would be one hell of a way to one-up its predecessor.
The trailer doesn't give the game a title, but simply ends with the declaration that "the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now in development."
It'd be mightily optimistic to expect the game before 2021, but it's still nice to have confirmation that it's in the works.
