E3 2021: 20 Huge Video Game Announcements You Need To Know
16. Forza Horizon 5 Is Set In Mexico, Releasing November 9
The next mainline Forza Motorsport game may have been absent from Microsoft's showcase, but they made up for it by revealing that the latest entry in spin-off franchise Forza Horizon is in development, and just a few months away from release no less.
As has been long-rumoured, Forza Horizon 5 will be set in Mexico, with the series' perennial developer Playground Games once again taking the helm for what should be another reliably addictive multiplayer racing blast.
The gameplay footage shown off looks eye-wateringly beautiful as fans of the franchise have come to expect.
It may not represent a particularly radical change-up for the series, but considering how excellent the previous game was, why tinker with a winning formula?
Best of all, it'll be here before we know it, as Forza Horizon 5 will release for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on November 9, and of course, will be releasing on Xbox Game Pass day one.
