12. There ARE Plunge Attack Animations (For Certain Enemies)

A LUDICROUSLY effective tactic the community is only just now discovering, Elden Ring does have traditional "plunging attacks" like the Souls games of old.

Only, they're locked to specific enemies and have pretty broken hitboxes, hence why - from 12 million+ of us - only a handful of players are uploading videos of the action in question.

To pull off a plunging attack, you need to hit R1/RB when your feet would hit the top of certain enemies. You can see in the above video, one of the mechanised abominations from Caelid turning into a makeshift bomb when hit like this, but the jury's out on just how many other enemies it applies to.
