11. ALWAYS Use R3 To Hunt For Enemies

Maybe it's the Souls veteran in me, but I'd encourage getting into the habit of scanning areas while pushing R3.

While enemies love to hide around corners, on-high and in darkness, hitting R3 to attempt a lock-on will ALWAYS find them, no matter what.

The range on this is notably larger than ever in Elden Ring, and while that means an enemy can lock onto you and prevent you opening the map to fast-travel and escape, a regular prod of R3 can save you from any number of ambushes or formidable foes.
