6. Expand The Story With Multiple Timelines
This is yet to be confirmed in relation to Fallout 4 gameplay-wise, but the footage out there did show off a tutorial section taking place in a pre-war Boston, your player character enjoying all the follies of a semi-modern society of the time. Whether Bethesda rendered out this hefty chunk of the town and all the art assets within just for the sake of an opening half hour or so is up for debate, but it's far more likely if they're leaning into a heavier narrative style through the voiced protagonist, that you'll revisit this place through flashbacks across the course of the campaign. For TES, there are a number of world-changing battles and events that take place across the canon, and now that we've seen the might of The Elder Scrolls Online journey to many different key locations in quick succession, why not factor that back into the main game, as it looks like F4 might be doing?
