Every 2020 Video Game Delayed Into 2021

2. Deathloop

Halo Infinite
Arkane

Deathloop was first announced at E3 2019, but audiences didn't get a proper look at the game until the Sony PlayStation 5 event, that took place just a few months ago. The game is a spiritual successor to the Dishonoured series, inheriting its fun gameplay and use of parkour for movement. It got a positive reception during the event, and was planned to release in the final quarter of the year.

Sadly the game has had to be delayed until Q2 2021 due to the ongoing worldwide situation. As the developers have been working from home, development has slowed down substantially. Despite this, developers Arkane Studios still seem pretty confident that the game will release in 2021, so fans should have nothing to worry about. After all, more development time can't be a bad thing.

With so many games on this list being repeatedly delayed or being rife with controversy, it's refreshing to see Arkane Studios take a very level-headed approach to everything. Here's hoping that the rest of 2020 flies by so we're not waiting too long for Deathloop.
